On May 14th, Zhang Xijun, President of Nanopolis Suzhou Co., Ltd. and Vice President of the Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese of Suzhou P.R.C. led a delegation to participate in TechConnect World 2017, the world’s largest event of the nanotech industry held in Washington, USA, where he presented to the participating experts, innovative enterprises and industry organizations SIP’s achievements, ecological system, advantages and industry environment for the nanotech industry. He also addressed topics such as startups and innovations, technology transfer, IP protection in SIP with overseas Chinese scientists and visited over 10 projects including new carbon fiber material.
The delegation paid a visit to the Chinese Embassy in Washington before, where they briefed about Nanopolis Suzhou to the Counselor for Scientific and Technological Affairs in hope that the embassy would work as a bridge to link China and US on technological innovations and business startup and push overseas Chinese to return to their motherland and start business there. Following the visit, Nanopolis Suzhou held a nanotech investment promotion in Washington, at which Mr. Zhang Xijun shared the startup policies, advantages for development and the international atmosphere of SIP to the overseas Chinese in the field of technology and expressed that those who aspired to do business in nanotechnology were welcome to come to SIP to turn their dreams into reality.
